Bike Tours "Souvenirs de Saint-Boniface"

Join Raymond Sokalski, museum interpreter and (retired) school teacher, on a guided bike tour exploring the rich history, culture, and community of St. Boniface, Winnipeg’s French quarter and the heart of Manitoba’s Francophone community!

After the tour, stick around and experience the art, culture, music, and market happening for Jeudis de la francophonie (Francophone Thursdays) – a vibrant cultural event series that takes place every Thursday from June to August in St. Boniface!

Bike Tour Dates and Times:

Thursday, August 17*, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 24**, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Thursday, August 31*, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

** “Francophone-francophile” tour, in French with additional commentary in English, on request

Tour start/end point: Joseph Royal Park (northwest corner of Provencher and Taché)

Itinerary: Esplanade Riel, Parc Elzéar-Goulet, Hébert & Kitson homes, St B. City Hall, St. B. Normal School, Riel Monument (USB), Basilica Cemetery

Cost: “Pay It Forward”; make a donation to a community organization
