A new guided walking tour that explores Saint-Boniface through the places, people, and events that have shaped its history. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of Manitoba’s Francophone capital with the help of award-winning augmented reality!
The tour begin at the Tourisme Riel kiosk on the Esplanade Riel (the pedestrian bridge next to the Provencher Bridge).
Prices

  • Senior: 15$
  • Youth (12-25 years): 15$
  • Group (4 and more): 15$/participant
  • Free for children under 12 years old

LES JEUDIS-PÉTANQUE

Come try your hand at pétanque! A form of lawn bowling that originated in France, join beginners and enthusiast pétanque players in Manitoba every Thursday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Provencher Park. 

No registration required – participation is free and open to all ages!

Join us for a fun & casual way to get out and see the neighbourhood and be around a bunch of friendly humans every Thursday!

There will be 3km & 5km routes for all abilities & all bodies!

SUPER IMPORTANT: Walking is welcome, strollers are welcome, wheelchairs or mobility devices are welcome, and of course dogs are welcome!

Here’s the timeline: 

630PM: Warm up & start the run/roll/jog/run

730PM: Return to the patio, get drinks & food and connect with fellow movers on the patio!

Our pal Krysta & Amy will be your hosts & they have a ton of experience running & riding all across the city and is super excited to high five and cheer you on at each event!

In partnership with Tourisme Riel, please join us at 7:00 P.M. the Maison des artistes visuels francophones (219 Provencher in the old St. Boniface City Hall) where we will screen a documentary on the history of Manitoba’s French Heritage, followed by lively discussion in French.
